Manchester Airport is served daily by flights connecting it with most domestic and European destinations. National services such as British Airways, as well as “low-cost” companies such as Ryanair and Easyjet provide regular services to Manchester Airport.
Once at the airport…
A train service connects the airport’s terminals with Sheffield Train Station, making your transfer from the airport to Sheffield as easy as it could possibly be! A one-way ticket from the airport to Sheffield is usually £8 per person if booked online, services run with an average frequency of one train per hour.
London Airports (Gatwick, Heathrow, Luton and Stansted) are served daily by flights connecting London with domestic, European and non-European destinations. Nearly all airlines provide connections to and from London, including “low-cost” companies such as Ryanair and Easyjet.

In addition, London Heathrow is also connected via “tube”. Prices vary depending on the airport, time of arrival and mean of transport chosen. From London to Sheffield
Once in London, coach services provided by NationalExpress connect London Victoria Coach Station with Sheffield Interchange. Services usually run from 6AM to 11PM with on average one service per hour, and prices ranging from £5 to £25 per person. The average journey takes between 3.5 and 4.5 hours.
Moreover, trains services to Sheffield Train Station are available from King’s Cross St. Pancras, usually taking between 2 and 3.5 hours, price vary between £25 and £30 per person and run from 5/6AM to 11PM/12AM.
Megabus coach services connect London to Sheffield Meadowhall with prices as low as £4 per person, often including overnight trips as well. However, please notice that an additional local bus from Sheffield Meadowhall to Sheffield Centre will be needed. You can also take a short bus or tram journey.
